Cleveland TA7 Irons

Cleveland TA7 Irons

DESCRIPTION

The New TA7 all ability clubs from Cleveland Golf feature Micro-Cavities. This patented technology lightens the top line and lowers the center of gravity, moving more weight to the perimeter of the clubhead, providing exceptional feel. The shape of the TA7 incorporates a conventional game-improvement face depth with modern heel-to-toe blade length, creating an extremely large hitting area. The TA7 also features a progressive offset, the patented Vibration Absorbing System, and a high energy finish.

The TA7 irons are simply good....great value and fun to play. And now they're even better because Cleveland have finally put them out in gunmetal. Highly recommended in every aspect.

I've hit lots of irons over the years, RAC LT's, Ping I3+, Mizuno MP30's, X-14 Pro Series and have to admit the TA7's are by far the superior club. Easy to hit, even the long irons and. Never considered Cleveland before but I tried a used set at the PGA Superstore the day of a less than stellar round with the LT's. If you come across a set, give them a try you won't be disappointed.

The Cleveland TA7's are really nice. Over 30 years I've hit with Wlison Dynapowers, Pings, and many MANY others. The TA7 is great looking and great performing at the same time. The shock absorbing (steel USA)shafts give the clubhead excellent feel, usually missing in cast clubs. D2-3 Swingweights were within 1 point right off the rack. A used set in good condition can be a STEAL.

OK So I am a compulsive type personality, and sometimes that can be an issue. My last 2 cars I bought were the first car i test drove. I very often shop for something based on price. I find the price i want and buy it. I have been playing a cheap set of no-name cavity backs and was getting a bit better with them. A buddy of minie just got a set of used Big Berthas and I trided tham and noticed the difference in them and the crap I was used to. So I set out to buy myself a set of decent used clubs. So off to Ebay I go. I found a full set 3i-pw and 60*lob for $230. The look great, and I was wondering if they would play very well. I figured anything would be better than what I had currently. Well luckly enough these clubs are AWESOME. I can hit my 4i straight 210 yds now. Before the 4i wasn't even an option for me. They do get the ball up in the air mare than anyone else in our regular four-some. but easily carry just as far. I've only played 3 rounds with them, but i can tell that my game has just gottem about 30% better. I would recomend to anyone to shop and demo clubs first, but if you are a beginning player looking for a decent set of used clubs, search out ebay and get some TA7's.

I just got these irons in August and have now played a number of rounds with them. I got these to replace my "Ram" beginner irons. I have to say that these irons are a very good value. I got them for a very good price used and I still cannot get over how good these irons are. These are cast irons but the have and incredibly soft and responsive feel. You do "feel" mis-hits, but thanks to the Sensicore shafts the aftershock isn't terrible. The launch of these irons are very high. I personally think the topline on the 8-PW are a little thick but it is bearable. I can't really say that these irons add distance, since I've made some significant swing changes, but they are very accurate. If your looking for some great value irons, assuming you can find a set, this would be the best one in my opinion.

Nike CCi, also very good irons, very similar to Ta7's but pricier.
