Cobra S2 Forged Irons Review

Cobra S2 Forged

Description
This iron features an extreme perimeter-weighted cavity back that provides exceptional control, accuracy, and forgiveness along with a higher MOI for higher ball speeds, even on off-center shots. It is forged from 1025 carbon steel, and the grooves are CNC milled to promote consistent trajectories and spin control. Better players will be drawn to its tour-inspired design and shape, as well as the soft forged feel.

Cobra S2 Forged Irons

Summary:
I can't agree more with the previous poster regarding these great irons. I have owned dozens of irons and never have I experienced the combination of feel, control and forgiveness that these irons provide. The stock Nippon NS Pro 1130 shaft is a definite winner here. If you are looking for the buttery forged feel coupled with outstanding playability you must give these a try. Cobra hit a home run with these!

Customer Service:
My retailer ordered the gap wedge for me from Cobra and I received it in a few days.

Cobra S2 Forged

Summary:
I am a 3 handicap and played blades since I took up the game. At 50 I decided to switch to something more forgiving and began an exhaustive process of testing cavity-back clubs. I tried products from Mizuno, Taylormade, Callaway, Cleveland, etc. I chose this club because it was the most forgiving, longest, and most accurate.

2010 Cobra S2 Forged

Summary:
I am what you would call an expert golfer. I am scratch. I can work the ball...stingers, draws, fades and punch shots. I'm a pure ballstriker. I'm a player. These clubs feel great and hit the ball longer than most. Probably due to the stronger lofts (PW is 43 deg). Probably due to me hitting it solid. The Nippon shaft works well with my flawless swing. I can nip it. I can't wait to go take money out of my buddy's hands with these irons. Sweet.

Customer Service:
Despite the name the people at Cobra are not snakes.

I've used other clubs. Many other clubs. But I will not tell.

You sir are a dope. I had to give this man 10 strokes in horrible weather. Not to mention the fact that I had the flu and just had a rectal exam.
