Gigagolf Acer XP Hollow Core Irons

Summary:
I received these Acer XP Hollow Core irons from gigagolf.com about 3 months ago. I am very happy with the play and build quality of these clubs but,,,,you knew there had to be a but,,,,the rubber inserts have loosened on some of the clubs in the real hot weather out in the sun. I called gigagolf and they were more than happy to epoxy the inserts for me but I elected to do them myself as I didn't want to lose the clubs in sending them back. They said there were a few complaints from people in hotter climates and the manufacturer has begun using a new epoxy adhesive, so there should be no other problems. Other than that, I LOVE these clubs!!!!

Customer Service:
Wonderful customer service each time I called.

Tommy Armour 845S Oversize

Summary:
I bought these after reviewing reviews and other players. I got them off eBay for $143 and clearly are a great deal. I have a tendancy not to hit the club in the sweet spot all the time and these are very forgiving. I was playing a set of Snake Eyes Viper MS clubs I built myself and these are a lot more forgiving. The rubber grip that comes with them is junk and I am re-gripping them this weekend. I am extremely pleased and will be playing these irons for a long time! I bought some Ping i3 Blades for my son and he can hit them great. Not the club for my swing.

Customer Service:
Not needed as of yet.

Summary:
I bought these with the Featherlite shaft. The clubs were built well as I have done some assembly myself. I found they hit very solid and had great ball flight. I did find that they aren't as forgiving on the off center hits as I wanted them to be. I ended up with a set of Tommy Armour 845S Oversize irons.

Customer Service:
Great - no problems sending the clubs back per their guarentee.
