Shoots in the 90s Model Reviewed: Power Max KC2 irons Summary: Ordered these irons as I prepared to return to golf after a 7 1/2 year layoff, and either I've started hitting the ball dead-on in the six weeks since I returned or these are some very forgiving clubs. I previously played Hogan Apex irons and was a bogey golfer. Since I shot 63 in my first nine holes back, I've dropped my handicap down to 21, and I'm hitting about 30% of the greens (it would be closer to 60% if I'd quit hitting approach shots fat). I can only attribute my rapidly improving accuracy to the irons; my drives only averaging around 190, and my best scoring averages are on par 3s.
Fit and finish is very clean, and the irons are attractive. Adjustable weights are a plus.
Only minuses I can think of are that I don't get a tremendous amount of feel,(but I also don't spray many shots, so maybe I'm hitting them close to the sweet spot, after all [doubt it]), and they're not significantly longer than the Apexes. Again, that probably has a lot more to do with my swing speeed than the clubs.
I'm glad I bought these irons. I'd buy them again.Great value and very good product for the price. Customer Service: Inquiries receive quick responses.
