Steel Head XL6

Summary:
Super, Super Irons. I cannot rave on about the Steel Head XL6 irons enough.

I use to play with Titleist 822OS and had a tendency to impact hook spin on the ball. Poorer shots were extreme pulls. So I decided to look for new irons. Played with the Titleist for 16 months. So can't say I didn't give them a good enough go. They were not the club for me.

Anyway I had always wanted to try Callaway clubs but because of the price could not afford them. So I said I'd give Gigagolf a look. Liked the look of the Callaway X-16's anyway so said I'd give the Steel Head XL6 models a go.

Excellent, Excellent club. Preforms superbly. Draw, Fade & Straight whatever you want to put on the ball. I know you hear it all the time but after changing to these Irons I shot 77, 79, 82 & 78 in row, winning a competition off a 12 handicap in our club. No distance lost on these clubs compared to the Titleist 822OS (When I did hit these right!) Infact because I was hitting these clubs much cleaner I gained a little distance. Irons sit comfortably, inspiring confidence at address.

For the price, the Steel Head XL6 are tremendous value. I honestly think they will suit most golfers. I'm very eager to test the Callaway X-16 irons to really see if there is any difference.
