Summary: I found my MP-33's on craigslist for a steal about two years ago; I, too, bought into the "these are for low handicappers only" rhetoric, having researched the difference between Mizunos and every other club on the market. They were exactly as they came from the factory (Golf Pride Tour Velvet, Dynamic Gold S300, standard loft/lie.) Having worked part-time at Golf Galaxy for about a year, I knew the importance of getting fitted for clubs (or having the clubs fitted for me, actually.) Turns out, they were just right as they were; a few trips to the driving range proved that it was truly the indian, not the arrows. The bad shots were rewarded with a stinging hand (like a nun with a ruler), and the pured shots were obscenely sweet and solid; I could feel the clubface through my hand. That's kind of hard to describe, but that's the most accurate description I can think of for the sensation of a sweetspot shot with the MP33's. Now, I'm a high handicapper; these clubs are the best source of swing and ball contact feedback that you could ever use. A set of these and a few sessions with a good certified PGA pro, and your wife will become a golf widow; your buddies will keep asking you to use your clubs; the guys at the driving range will slow down a little as they pass your golf bag to have a look; you'll tee up a ball and point your club down the fairway just like Babe Ruth with a bat. Plain and simple: if you want to become a ball-striker (or become a better ball-striker), get a set of these. There is no better investment you can make in golf than a top-shelf set of clubs...

Summary: I got these clubs used about 9 monthes ago and i think that they perform great. im 13 years old and am a high70's shooter to low 80's. i do have my best round of 76 right now =). i think that these clubs are more for people witha lower handicap rather then your average golfer. i cant wait to get them dialed in to my swing=) and then hopefully i will lower my game=)

Summary: Got a set for <$90 on eBay for kicks because I didnt think I "deserved" to play these irons. The first time out I shot 77! They are longer by approx 5 yards (half club) than my Taylor Made 300, with which I shoot in the 80's/low round of 75. Soft and "relatively" forgiving. I'm having this beat up set rechromed and look forward to playing these full time next season.

Summary: I used to play the Mp60 (and loved them), but my game has improved enough to where I need the workability more than I do the forgiveness. So I switched to the MP 33s, expecting a week or two of that awful CLUCK feeling of a miss hit till I get used to them...but I was very very pleasantly surprised. The feel was absolutely pure...PURE PURE. But you know when you miss, but it turns out no worse than a miss with the MP60s. The extra workability is nice as well. Oh lets fade this one, look at that A FADE. High and soft...wow it lands like a butterfly. I also think i GAINED yards with these, most likely because these clubs respond best with a GOOD swing, so I've been making more lately.
I'd RECOMMEND these clubs for good ball strikers, anyone who isn't afraid of their 3 or 4 iron. If you hit miss shots occasionally throughout a round (chunks, skulls, hooks/slices), these clubs ARE not for you. These clubs don't mess around.

Summary: Bought these on ebay for 127.00 + shipping. Really enjoy playing these, especially how they look at setup. Added bonus is all the compliments you get from other golfers. Definitely had to spend some time on the range to get comfortable but the feedback really forces you to correct your swing.
