Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Nike Pro Forged Combo Summary: These irons are forgiving, the longer irons are great to hit. For me I cannot hit the 3 iron, but up to the 4 is no problem, maybe a bit wary on the accuracy, but they are long irons. These were my first Forged irons, which I bought new in 2005. The sales guy told me I would lose about a 1/2 club in distance. It is more of a whole club for me. I usually can hit an 8i from the 150 markers and now I hit a 7i. I will be looking for new Irons as these may be just worn out now, which is why nothing checks up. I would like to stay with Forged irons, but still get the benefits of hitting an 8i into a green rather than a lower trajectory 7i. These irons continue to do the job. All of the posts that praise the feel and everything else about these clubs is true, I just wouldn't agree that there is minimal distance loss. Similar Products Used: Nike was my First Forged Iron (and Theirs), but I look forward to demo-ing the Hogan Apex Forge and some MacGregor MACTEC Forged M685s.

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Nike Pro Combo OS irons Summary: Great Irons. I work in a golf store and do nothing but hit clubs into the practice net all day long. I laugh at the reviews that describe distance loss with these clubs. I hit the 3 iron 250 like butter. Of course the forged 9 iron is going to have less distance. I love the distance loss in the lower irons as I find these shots more consistent than my full swing iron shots. Easy to hit cavity long irons with great distance, nicely shaped mid irons, forgiving but with forged feel, and a wider array of distances in the shorter irons with great feel and accuracy. I have a feeling these clubs will make a comeback, and make Nike lots of Cash Similar Products Used: Every club in the store, 1980's through 2009 Ping, Callaway, Nike, Taylor Made, Mizuno, Dunlop, Cleveland, Sonartech, Confidence, Orlimar, Rawlings, Nickent, Tour Edge.... you name it, I've hit it.

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Pro Combo O/S Summary: I had a set of these some time ago, they had the factory Nike Speed Step Steel... liked them, but they did not stay in the bag...
Still having trouble finding the "perfect" set, I say a set new on Ebay for $209, with R300 DG and grabbed them.
BIG difference. These irons are SO sweet... the feel is fantastic, comparable to the Mizunos and KZG's, which, IMO, are the softest feel. The difference though, is that compared to those irons, this set of Pro Combo OS has a great deal of control and forgiveness. Very good distance, accuracy is xlnt.
The OS really goes much more to the sole design than the size of the head, which I find to be pretty standard, none of the clunker look here...
Not crazy about the stock grips, but no biggie, easily fixed.
Overall, the best irons that I have found, and I have tried an embarrassing number of sets... If you are in the 80's or better, these are well worth a look. Customer Service: NA Similar Products Used: Almost everything.

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: nike pro combo os Summary: These are the best irons I have played. This is my 2nd season with them, and I love them. I wish they didn't stop making them. I am writing this review, because I stumbled across this review while I am looking for a second set to use when my current set wears out. If that isn't being in love with your irons, I don't know what is. The perfect balance of feel and forgiveness. Similar Products Used: Cleveland, Titleist, Callaway and Mizuno.

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Pro Combo OS Summary: If you want the forged soft feel, these are one of the best clubs for you if you don't want to spend alot of money. They do have a little extra weight to them, however it helps me generate some serious swing speeds and the balls just launches off the face effortlessly on pure strikes. The offset does help too if you have a tendency to leave the long irons out to the right. I would recommend iron covers as they are very soft and will get dinged up. They are beautiful clubs though. Customer Service: Broke 4 iron shaft trying to hit through a tree. Sent in to Nike, they replaced the shaft but burned into the club hosel an 'R' after the "Forged" engrave which I didn't really like, however the club hits the same and now has a little more character. It took about 3 weeks to get the shaft back for $35 (with all shipping charges). Very reasonable imo.
