Summary:
I'd put my iron game up against anyone's. In other words, read on because this is a review worth your time. I took these sticks to the range. I hit it high, I hit it low. I hit a fade and then a hook 10 seconds later. I could do whatever I want, which is not rare for my game. However, I did not like the feel compare to, say, the Wilson fg-17 or Mizuno MP-32. It doesn't feel like a Ping Eye 2 either. It just feels...a little hard shall we say? It is because of this that I cannot in good faith provide a rating of 5. I give it a 4. I think there are superior products out there. Since I'm a superior player, I should have the best.

Customer Service:
They did not take my criticism well. I did talk to Mr. Solheim for awhile about one of my new concepts. I believe he was eating a Wendy's triple at the time.

ping s58

Summary:
If you like blade style irons- you are going to love the Ping S58 (and they will last a long time)...Not quite the same feel but you get the same trajectory and feedback form these...Easy adjustment from blade irons....Highly recomend these for good ball strikers that like to work the ball--Not typical cast irons-no ballooned shots with these- easy to predict ball flight !!!!! Maybe a little more forgiving than typical baldes but not much...Distance is nothing to brag about but decent...The Ping I15 driver is the real deal if your miss tends to be in the left rough...This is my 2 cents....

Ping S58 Irons

Summary:
What can I say about these clubs but AWESOME !! I have now converted to Ping and sold off my Taylormade TP Forged Irons today. The S58 offers a consistant ball flight and the dispersion is to be seen and I can now go at the pin more frequently with this club.I am now going on the launch monitor to get fitted for the Ping i15 Driver and then I'll sell off my Taylormade R7 Limited. I have always been long in my shots but now I can add more flight consistancy and bring down my handicap from a 11 to a single digit soon.

Customer Service:
Have not needed to have them offer their service which I hear is second to none.

Ping s58

Summary:
I play the Ping s58's in a black dot and have the 4 iron through wedge in my bag. I love them. They are easy to work, easy to hit straight, and feel and look like a traditional players club. The "muscle-back" style and the weight of the club force you to finish every shot and their superior feel allow you to know exactly how you missed when you do. Trajectory and distance are good as well.
Great for the mid to low handicap golfer that likes to shape shots and likes the feel of a blade. I like the fact that they will last as long as Ping's do because I now know that I won't have to buy another iron set before I am 50!
