Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Ping G 15 Summary: Was fitted by Edwin Watts staff for the Ping G 15 5-PW. What a difference these clubs have made in my game. Maximum forgiveness and playability not to mention distance increases of up to 5 to 8 yards per iron. I have tried several irons sets, callaway, taylormade, cleveland and by far PING is the way to go my friends. I golf at least twice a week and can't say enough about these clubs. Go out try a set and get fitted by your golf pro. These irons will make the difference. Customer Service: Edwin Watts folks (FWB) and I received my PING set in two days! Similar Products Used: Callaway X 20s, Cleveland Launcers, Taylormade OS.

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Ping G15 Irons Summary: I've had my set for about a month now so I'm getting used to them pretty well.
I was fitted for these by Ping reps at a tournament and it's the first time I did the fitting thing. Highly recommend this to anyone.
The first thing I noticed about these was the weight. Even with graphite shafts, they were a bit heavier than my old set and I was not sure I'd like that, but as I've played with them, I've found it to be a plus. You know where the head is and what it's doing throughout the swing.
I have no trouble getting the ball up in the air with these clubs, but I find it easy to vary trajectory and shot shape, even though, as game improvement irons, they are not supposed to be as workable as player's irons.
The big thing for me is the accuracy of these irons. I am hitting more greens and getting more reasonable birdie putts than ever before. I also have gained a few yards in distance over my old set. I was hitting the old 7 iron about 145 (150 when I really caught it right). With the G15's my seven is routinely getting 155, and when I really get into it, I've hit it 165.
I'm a 13 handicap, shoot in the 80's with the occasional upper 70's when the stars allign. I've tried several sets of irons over the last couple of years, but I think I have finally found the set for me and hope to be playing these for some time to come. Customer Service: Outstanding. I got fitted for these at a demo site by Ping reps. Ordered just the irons I needed (6-PW) directly from Ping. The clubs were delivered several days before the estimated date I was given.
