Summary: My first set of these irons I got about eight years ago. My Son in Law while stationed in Japan, Called me about the sweetest looking irons he had ever seen. He sent me a picture and I had to have them so he bought them for me. I played them for a couple of seasons and loved how soft they are this is Japanese forging at its best. I also play Mizuno Mp14s when my game is really on. But the Mizunos just don't have the feel that these do. I have played or owned ever forged irons made in the last 5 years and these are the best. I bought a set of the I302s not even close. Then I506s and they were even worse harsh feel. The new I701s are getting back to what there I201s are very precise and consistant. But still does does not have that sweet buttery feel of the I201s. If you can find a set of these irons which is really becoming hard to do. Buy them at any cost and put your favorite shaft in and you will have the best forged cavity back irons made. I think Srixon had it right the first time out. But like all companys the bottom line is where its at and new product suffers in quality. One other thing the W 506 Driver is the most solid driver I have ever hit. And I have always been a Titleist man when it comes to drivers but not anymore.

Summary: I prefer the look of a blade-sized head with minimal offset and these irons are it! They have the feel/workability of a blade with the forgiveness of a cavity back. They also give you so much confidence when held at address. Although these irons are hard to come by, if you get your hands on a set--you won't want to give them back!

Summary: I have only hit these irons a few times but DAMMM!!! are they great. They look like a blade at addresss but with a perimerated weight gives a cavity back which makes them much more forgiving. I am looking for a new set of irons, which there is a battle between the Tm 320's and these. So far these are in front cauz I have only hit the 320's once and they felt similar. And they r cheaper. The only downside is that the 1/201 irons r forged which makes them extremely easy to dint. I think any 1 that shoots worst then the 90's shouldn't buy these cauz as forgiving as they r u need to hit close to the centre as they will fall pretty short just like blades. These irons r soft and I desperatly want a set. See Ya later and if u do get a set good luck with as u will loose allot of shots. Bye.

Summary: Switched to these from Titleist 762s via a set of Mizuno Pro IIs. I wanted something that looked like a blade but still offered some forgiveness on my off days. I also wanted a penetrating flight as I tend to hit the ball quite high. These were the best I tried by a margin and with the Rifle flighted 5.5 shafts are proving to be ideal for my game. Very accurate and great feel. Have had them about a month now and have lost a shot off my handicap already. If you can find a set try them, I am sure you will like them.

Summary: I have been searching for a new set of irons for about two years now that would give me a nice thin blade like appearence at the top, but with more forgiveness than a blade. I tried the 690 cb's, Taylor Made 300's, and the Mizuno MP-30's. All of the before mentioned models felt okay, but the Srixon gave me a feel that the others didn't. The ball seemed to just explode off the face of the clubs with a nice smooth ball flight. I would like to say to everyone buying new irons, try these irons. I know they aren't one of the major companies in the states, but the way these irons feel and perform, they should be.
