Taylormade TP irons

Summary:
Having recently bought these irons, I can honestly say they are the best irons I have ever hit, in terms of feel, workability and power. The asthetic property of the clubs cannot be faulted, providing maximum confidence when standing over the ball in almost all situations. I dont think you can go wrong with these irons....superb.

RAC TP 2005

Summary:
Picked these up for a very cheap price. They are incredibly soft and look beautiful. They look alot like the original LT's at address but they are forged and have the TP insignia attached to them. Id recommend to anyone in the 70s cause ur gonna need solid ballstriking.

Customer Service:
Not needed yet but theyre top notch

TP FOrged

Summary:
Maybe it's my bad luck, but my experience with TaylorMade has consistently been "show for a lot of dough" (with these irons, the R7 series of woods, and almost every other TaylorMade club I have ever hit). I was looking for a more forgiving cavity back with a forged blade profile to replace my aging Mizuno MP-14s. When I tested the TaylorMade TP2's they sold me immediately with their soft 1025 carbon feel and gorgeous looks. Unfortunately, I rushed to judgement as I had only tested these clubs indoors. When I took them out on the course, I was very disappointed by their performance - ballooning shots every time, very poor workability, and some 5-10 yards in lost distance. I also thought I liked that these clubs were extra heavy (like the MP-14s) to promote a more consistent swingplane. However, this only helped me to develop a golfer's elbow and arthritis since I was straining so much to produce a lower trajectory with a flatter swing. After a season with these clubs, where I repeatly struggled to break 90, I finally switched to the Ping s59s/G5s. Now I'm consistenly back in the 80's, the golfer's elbow is no longer an issue, and I am striking the ball better than ever.
