Model Reviewed: Taylor Made Bubble Shaft Irons
Summary: A friend of mine replaced his TM's with hybrids and gave the TM's to me. Haven't been on the course with them yet, but took them to the range yesterday. I was shocked at how well they performed despite being "old technology". The short to mid-irons especially hit very straight, just as far as my more up-to-date irons, and felt great. The 3-, 4- and 5-irons were a little less forgiving, but after an hour of working with them I think I have them figured out. Saturday tells the tale. Big money match game and I'm usin' 'em.

Summary: I've been playing these clubs for 4 years now, they have been fantastic for the price. Mine have the original bubble shaft (graphite-stiff). They are great straight shooting irons with fairly low spin. Great for people who want the ball to release once it hits the green. Moderately forgiving, little workability. I can't believe they were developed in 1995-8; if I put on new grips and steel shafts, only the experienced golfers from the 90's would be able to tell.

Summary: I bought these irons in 2008 from GolfSquid.com along with a Integra Driver. I have Dynamic Gold shafts and Golf Pride grips. These clubs hit really well and look cool. Our pro uses the X-20's and he liked mine just as well. Go save yourself some money and get these.
Customer Service: Friendly and fast service.

Summary: I've been playing these since my my Jr. year in HS, 1999. After 9 years i've yet to find a club i find worthy enough to replace these with. They're forgiving yet they do provide you solid feedback on miss-hits. They're also long. The PW hits similiar to many 9 irons i've hit. They also aren't like today's oversizded clubs. They have what i consider minimal offset, a thin top line and sole. In today's market they would be more of a mid-level club IMO. You can probably find these on ebay in great shape for a $100 or so.

Shoots in the 80s
Summary: Bought a set of Burner oversize with graphite bubble shafts. These clubs look very slim and nice behind the ball and if hit centre fly effortlessly through the Air. Have been told by Taylormade the quality of these clubs are way below the new product, but for a small price these outway the clubs I have used before.
If I hit the 6 iron @180 yds, what will a new set do?
