Titliest AP1Irons

Summary:
Great irons. Previously played a set of forged cavity backs. Will never say the feel is as good as forged, however, if you shoot 80 and above (occasional 70's) like me the forgiveness is a must. These irons have it all...forgiveness, great feel, and are very straight. Just what the doctor ordered.

Didn't take very long to get used to the slightly larger head than I previously used.

I had them fitted by a golf pro which was also a real help. I would highly recommend you get any irons fitted so you are not changing your swing to fit the club.

Customer Service:
Never had an issue with any Titliest product. Local club shop said their service is excellent.

Summary:
I belong to a country club and I'm a scratch golfer. That means I've got the etiquett to go along with the great game. These clubs are like dull shovels. They are an abomination of the game. I like the way these companies put out irons where the PW is, like, 44 degrees. What is the point? Now you need two more gap wedges. Take my expert advice, go get some lessons and then put some blades in your hands. Try the Mizuno MP-67 or the Titleist ZM.

Titleist AP1

Summary:
Switched from a max game improvement iron (2006 Nike Slingshots) to the AP1s. Being above ave ht and wanting to improve my game, I got fitted at a local muni. After playing the irons for 5 rounds, I have gotten over the mental aspect of having new irons. Asthetically these irons are great looking. They are great to hit as well, ie balanced, high trajectory, and forgiving. Also, I have gained 5-10 yds on each iron. I highly recommend these irons for any player looking to transition from a max game improvement to a game improvement iron.

Customer Service:
Franconia Golf Shop in Sfld, MA. Ask for Kevin - he was very knowledgable and helped me select the right set for my ability / cability.

Titleist AP 1

Summary:
I have been taking lessons and my golf has improved immensely with the current clubs I use. I recently attended an open day and tried many clubs, I ended up purchasing the Titleist AP1, purely because of how sweet I was striking the ball. I found that most of the balls I hit had good height and distance. I was custom fitted and am now looking forward to taking many shots off my game.

Ap1's w/S300 high launch shafts

Summary:
Wow.. great irons! No problem moving the ball left or right and the high launch shafts make hitting the long irons a joy. I've played irons shafted with project X's and they feel stiff or boardy to me but the S300 HL shafts have a softer feel and you get the trajectory of the project X's. Very solid feel at impact with good feadback. You'll know if you miss them or not. Offset is not extreme and sets up pleasingly to the eye. Even though they're cast, they do ding and scratch up pretty easily. IMO, definitely a better iron than past Titleist models that felt hard and harsh.
