Titleist Forged ZB Irons Review

Titleist Forged ZB

Description
Titleist Z•B Forged irons are high performance, blended cavity-to-muscle back forged irons with traditional feel, superior looks and shot control for the highly skilled player.

The Z•B Forged irons blended set features cavity back long irons for playability and partial cavity mid irons blending to muscle back short irons for shot control. The contemporary Z back design precisely distributes weight from the heel into the toe, locating the center of gravity in the center of the face for solid feel.

The traditional profile of the Z•B Forged irons includes minimal progressive offset for Tour validated ball flight, trajectory control and workability. The high performance, narrow sole reduces skipping in firm conditions while appropriate bounce reduces digging.

Z•B Forged irons also feature dual hosel lengths with a shorter hosel in the long irons to bias weight low for improved launch and a longer hosel in the mid and short irons to manage flight.

TITLEIST ZB

Summary:
The with the big head is right,(+2) you will not find a better feeling off the club face than these zb irons I've been playing them for a while now they really are great. forgiveness & great feel in the longer irons, the mid & short irons are so accurate its untrue. I have friend who plays off 12 and he has the same clubs part from the shafts are a little softer he loves them to so dont think that these club are just for the single figure golfer or pro they arent. Did you hit the 695MBs and/or the 735s? If so, how do they compare?

Titleist ZB Irons

Summary:
Keep reading because I'm probably the best golfer on this board. I've hit blades all of my life and I can pretty much do anything I want with the ball. I took the ZB's out for a round and hit darts all day. Was throwing it 3 to 10 feet on every swing. Sinking birds like you wouldn't believe. Didn't have to chip all day. I'm one of the best ball strikers in the state but these irons made me even better. Yes, they are that good. You don't need to read on because there won't be a review out there that means more than this one. If I like them, you will too. That is, if your good enough. I'd stay away if you are not atleast a 7 handicap. I'm a +2.

What a yutz. You really get off on this, don't you?

I may be a yutz but you're the ultimate klutz.

That's actually funny. I think maybe you're just socially inept and trying to be funny--and sometimes I guess it is.

In my experience those who talk a good game normally can't play worth a damn I'd say you are well in that catagory I'm now shootin in the 70's which just proves my point if you like the equipment use it that's probabley why you have such a hard time keeping or even getting a girl lmao

Thebrad--

I'm not surprised you like these clubs. I hit the previous iteration at a couple of demo days, and they really do melt off the face. Consistent feel, trajectory, everything. You'll only keep getting better if you play clubs that let you know how you're swinging them...seems like a great choice.

Summary:
Just had my first outing today with my new zb's only one word for them awesome can honestly say there wasn't one thing I didn't like about these clubs. The 3&4 are easy to hit and get airbourne and a very satisfying sound off the club with a great flight. And lovely soft feeling at the same time. Don't believe in the hype that these are for single figure handicap just test them before u buy u won't regret it !!!!

Titleist ZB Forged irons

Summary:
I picked these up about three weeks ago after weeks of debate between these, the AP2's, and several Mizuno models. I actually found these accidentilly, and I really liked the way they looked. But when I hit them, I LOVED the way they felt. I tweaked them a little and had them made with Nippon Stiff shafts and multi-compound grips. I found that the DG and the Project X shafts were too heavy and clunky.

The bottom line with these clubs is that if you have a decent/consistent swing, you will love these clubs. I am no scratch golfer and was very concerned that a I would not be able to hit these things. Boy was I wrong....After 5 rounds and several range sessions, I hit these things pure 95% of the time. I suggest that you hit as many balls as you can before buying them, but don't let the blade scare you away. These things are deadly accurate.

Titleist ZB- S 300 shafts

Summary:
These clubs are amazing, but don't get me wrong- they are not miracle workers. You need a decent swing and should be practicing or playing 4-5 times a week. The first few times on the range with these clubs I felt as though I hadn't chosen the right set, but as I practiced more and more, the perfect shots started to emerge. The club will definately let you know if you don't put the right swing on the ball, but if you play the amount of golf that I do and you are looking to shoot some lower scores, these are the blades for you. My favorite thing about these irons is that they are graduated meaning- 3-5 full cavity, 6-7 half cavity and 8-pw are full blade. For me, this provides more forgiveness on the front end and a heck of a lot more accuracy on the back end.

Customer Service:
bought them thru a local Titleist rep and he was great to work with
