Summary:
Great Putter! Like others say, it does help you make a smooth stroke. I found it especially helpful on the shorter putts where I would tend to make jabbing strokes with conventional putters. The Heavy Putter takes care of that, and helps you make a smooth stroke with proper follow through and release. The result is more made putts.

I have the matte finish, and the gray, anti-glare color is perfect. It sets up very nice, and alignment is easy. The putter also has a great feel. The putts feel like butter coming off the clubface. All lead to more confidence over the ball, and more made putts.

When my friends pick it up for the 1st time they all say the same thing - "wow, that's heavy". But it doesn't feel heavy as you make your stroke. It just works.

It may not be for everyone, but it works for me and I recommend you at least give it a try.

A1 heavy putter

Summary:
EXTREMLY GOOD PUTTER. I used it on the course for the first time today and i was amazed. Recently ive been going through putter woahs and three putts on holes were not uncommon. I bought this puttter a store i go to avidedly and ive always had my eyes on it. The extra wieght really does help you create a smooth putting stroke with a tempo that is repeatable every time. I went to the practice green and this proved to me that i was repeating the same swing every time, i missed the same putt 6 times in a row, but all in the EXACT same place. Your swing will become so repeatative. It helped me learn that i was aligning my putts wrong and solved some problems for me. Playing today on the second hole, i knocked my tee shot 15 feet from the hole (par three). I was scared over this putt because I dont really get that many chances at birdies. I steped up to the putt, swung, and it sank right in the middle of the cup. i near make putts more then 10 feet but today i was making 20 footers to save par. Please do your self a favor and if your not a good putter then pick this up, it even comes with a wieght kit so you can change the wieghts!

Heavy Putter

Summary:
I used to shoot in the low 90's consistently. No more. The Heavy Putter has taken an average of 4 strokes off my game and I'm averaging 88-89 my last 4 times out. It's literally amazing! It takes some time to master the long putts, but from under 10 feet and under distance control is easy. I'm making 75% of my 6 foot putts and slightly better than 45% from 10 feet or less. And I'll take that any day of the week! And as far as 3 putting greens go, those days are leaving me. I used to 3-putt about 3-4 greens a round. I'm down to an average of 1 per round....but that will be down to 1 every other round shortly.

heavyputter A1

Summary:
Bought this for £199 in the UK. Excellent on longer putts, gets the ball rolling very nicely.

Discourages a twitchy stroke, I find judging the pace of putts and executing the stroke that I want much easier with this than with a standard weight stick.

No real advantage over conventional weight putters inside 10' but that probably says more about my ability in this range than anything else.

The heavy weight suits slower greens I find I am much more consistent on tough longer putts than I have been before.

Time will tell, if I'm still using it this time next year then that'll be all you need to know.
