Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: BHB5-CC Summary: Bought this Carbon-Copper (CC) Bettinardi for under $100. It has a softer look to it than most Anser type putters. The finish is a softer almost silverish-gold with rounded edges when looking down. I am more used to the cold steel look of a Newport Studio Stainless. The honeycomb milled face is supposed to be absolutely flat as it can get. It has a copper insert that is gold plated that looks so-so.
The head weight is a bit heavier than most, but not making it unwieldy. Good stroke produce good feel, touch and sound as you'd expect for a putter of this caliber and from this designer. But anything less than an A strike results in a much different sound and feel, though the roll isn't too bad from a B stroke. I don't expect much from a C stroke from any putter, so no comment there.
I have 2 more weeks to putt with it before I decide if I want to keep it. So far I holed a fair share of throw up zone putts and lagged fairly well. Just another reason to go play more golf I suppose!! Similar Products Used: Newport SS 2.0, Ping Anser2, Cameron Red-X

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Ben Hogan B5-CC Putter Summary: This is by far the best looking putter at adress that i have ever seen. It sets up square and has a nice heavy feel. I bought it at Dick's for 99.99, nearly 200 less than they were last year. The best putter I own Similar Products Used: I have 11 putters. What can I say, I'm addicted. I have a Scotty Studio Design 2.5, Scotty Del Mar 3.5, Odyssey White Hot 2 Ball, Ping Cushin, Ping Anser 3, Ping Zing 2, Scotty American Classic Bullseye, and more. But this putter is by far the BEST.
