Ive got a Carbite B Four putter last year (not B One, but couldnt find any listing for B Four). I really like this putter, this is more mallet shaped than the B One, and I like the balance of it as well as the insert. The head is well balanced and got a good feel. Not as soft as some of the plastic inserts, but just as good feel. The most positive thing with this putter is that I get better and better with it. No matter what that depends on, if it is my technique, putter, experience etc. The point is, I put better, and this club help me along the way. Putting was always my achilles heal, and now it is not. The only negative I can think of is perhaps that it is a bit light, compared to some of the new putters. Like the MacGregor (Bobby Grace) that Ive tried. Otherwise a good putter with good feel and balance. Carbite makes quality products and this one is going to stay in my bag. Finally I just want to say that for 50$ this is by far the most value for the money that Ive ever bought.

Model Reviewed: Carbite B1

A diamond in the rough..to say the least! Money was no object when I recently was purchasing a putter. I just wanted one that felt and putted great. I wasn't to familiar with Carbite but knew they were known for their putters overall. I tested the B1 and I loved it from the start. The first thing you'll notice is that putts won't "spring" off the face..like a Taylor Made Monza. The B! has these micro brass balls on the face. It seems to work because it seems that the ball stays on the face longer, thus giving you better feel. The B1 is face-balanced, and hefty weight, so it's catered for putters with a back and forth swing--not the arc type. It looks like a blade putter but with the center mounted shaft plays like a mallet. I've played with my B1 for a year now and never looked back. I wanted to get a Titlest Scotty Cameron but, still, the B1 had better feel. You can actually feel the lag needed when making those long putts also. I recently lost my putter head cover and called Carbite. They sent me a brand new replacement--FREE! No questins asked. Now that's customer service. Forget the rest, by a Carbite, and you too won't look back. :)
