Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Austin 1 Summary: I hit some putts with the Austin 1 putter at Haggin Oaks golf shop and I think I'm going to go back and purchase it. They are selling it for only $39. I'll give another review when I've tried it for a few rounds. I love the way it looks because it has less offset that the Rife Bimini or Ping Tess or even the 8802. Customer Service: Don't know and don't care. I'd never call a company after purchasing a putter for $39. Similar Products Used: Scotty Cameron, Odyssey, Ping, etc.

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Ray Cook Austin 1 Summary: I got this putter for $50 at an outlet golf store, and it is with out a doubt the purest feeling putter I have played. They have a special brass connector (check it out at raycook.com) that holds the shaft and the head together, that I believe has translated into the most intuative distance control of any putter I have tried. I also love the classic look, and if you are looking to get away from the shoe box on a stick look give this one a try. Similar Products Used: The only putters that come close for look and feel are the Never Compromise Milled series and the Scott Newport series, but the Austin is a 1/4 the price.
