Scotty Cameron Futura Putters

Scotty Cameron Futura Putters

DESCRIPTION

The new Futura has been a concept that Scotty has been working on for over the last five years. The Futura is a unique design that features 75% of the weight in the back “horseshoe” and 25% in the face and body. This weight distribution gets the ball rolling immediately and performs like no other putter tested in the Studio. The sole was designed to never close when setting up and the top-line is shaped for a contoured look. Two plugs have been milled into the back of the face and stainless weights have been applied to create even more stability and give the putter solid sound and feel.

I got this putter in a golf show 4 years ago and was my first 'expensive' club and I have played with it since. I have my good days and bad but the putter has been very consistent. The design makes alignment natural and the club will promote a good smooth stroke.

This is a great putter. I'm not the best golfer but continually exceed my partners in putting and I attribute some of it to this putter. Alignment is very easy thanks to the design of the putter and distance control is great too. It's a huge improvement over my old white hot mallet putter.

The only negative is that I do feel a bit embarassed sometimes due to the odd look and feel like I better putt well if I'm holding this thing.

You can't beat Scotty Cameron putters. They're all works of art.

I have been using the Scotty Cameron Futura for a couple of months now and it's great. the putter has an unusual look which you soon get used to. It sounds unusual when you contact the ball, kind of a dull ring. The 2 top sight lines make it easy to align.
Because most of the weight is so far behind the face it is very forgiving on off-centre hits still giving a good result.
If you don't mind something a little unusual with a high MOI, this one is worth a try.
