Strength:

Due to their craftsmanship, brand reputation, and the collectible nature of some Scotty Cameron putters, the Studio Style Newport 2 putters may be priced higher in the used market compared to contemporary models. by tstoto

These putters dont even need a review they are the Rolex of putters. Scotty is a genius. With that being said I have owned quite a few Scottys since 2004. My most recent being a new Studio Stainless but by far the best putter I believe is the 2005 Studio Newport 2 it has the insert on the face I sent it out to Scotty for a nice Black, White, and Lime Green paintfill job aswell as a nice Lime Green custom grip.. wow this thing is money and has won me alot of money.. This putter makes you have a perfect stroke because the way it feels when you do, you are always chasing that feeling of the putter like a drug addict chasing a high that nice pop and beutiful roll of the ball. Spend the money and get a scotty if you can find a older model of the studio Style the Newport models are just awesome... Worth every penny

This is a fantastic putter. I would never pay $300 for a putter, but then started to think that the putter is used more than any other single club. That was the decision. The Scotty Cameron sits right, aims well, feels wonderful. The only thing I changed was to give it a little larger grip (Winn Medium). It doesn't make me Tiger Woods, but it helps me to be a lot more confident than I was. It is an excellent flat stick.

Some say that this putter is not receptive unless putts are perfectly hit. I do not dispute others, but absolutely do not find that to be true. For me, it has been a game improvement club! I'm glad I took the two months to find a putter that looks and feels great. Getting the putter fitted short enough was important. 34" vs. 35" was good advice for me.

I debated on buying this putter for years. I liked my old putter and just could not rationalize spending almost $300 on a putter. Then one day I was playing in a golf tournament and tinkering around with it in the pro shop and my friend said you use your putter for about half of your strokes in a round. Sounded like a good enough reason for me so I finally endulged myself and bought it. This is the best putter I have ever used. The consistency of the distances and the reaction off the club face is remarkable. Now I see what I have been missing out on for all these years. I tried all the new putters in the stores but none compared to this one. Tiger woods uses a Scotty Cameron putter so I'm willing to bet if its good enough for him its got to be able to improve our scores too. My advise to anyone looking for a new putter is buy this one. Don't wait and debate for years like I did. Buy it and take care of it. It will last you a lifetime and save you many strokes.

Trying out every putter for sale in the store, this one is by far the best. All of the odyssey putters have awful mushy inserts, the taylormade rossa putters are very cheaply made, ping putters are good but do not hold a candle to scotty cameron. The only one that comes close is the mizuno putters, and even they are not nearly as good.

This putter, with its elastomer surrounder German Stainless steel insert strikes the perfect balance between soft feel, responsive feedback and distance control. The alignment aid on the flange does the job without being to distracting. These are truly the finest crafted putters in the world, every single one being done in the same place, in America. No matter your skill level I would recommend a scotty putter

This putter is very nice but expensive. you cant hardly go wrong with titleist products. it has an awesome sweetspot to help you feel the putts better. I putt a lot better on the 30-45 footers now on getting them closer. One bad part is that the backside gets an aweful glare from the sun on bright days.try before you buy because the trade in value is not nearly enough if you dont like it. So far i love this putter though.

It is important to find the right putter that fits your game. Everything in this game comes down to putting surface. The Newport 2 is a solid putter. It is well balanced, rolls the ball pure, and has great feel. For the same reason that quality drivers cost hundreds of dollars, a quality putter (which you end up using twice as much) is going to cost a lot as well. For the serious golfer who understands the importance spending time on the practice green, you can't go wrong with a Newport 2. There is a reason why Tiger has used this same style putter (though his is an older stainless steel model) since 1999. The price tag might be too much for the occasional golfer, but I think this club is suited for anyone willing to put in the work to develop a solid putting stroke

Customer Service

Putters don't ususally break, but from what I've heard, Scotty Cameron is really good when it comes to making his customers happy.
