Summary: It might sound strange, but I consider this more of a training aid than a putter. I say that because this club has helped me develope a much better stoke, and much better feel...but not so much a better total game on the green. In other words, I now find myself hitting other putters I never hit very well, well now. Because of the placement of the weight with this putter, you always know when you've hit it square, and you always know when you haven't. In addition, the feel (in general) is wonderful. It's very easy to play from about 10 feet in...and this is my major beef with the club. Beyond 10 feet it's very hard to get the ball to the hole. The ball is simply less reactive off of the rubber face than it is with the standard metal faces of most putters. This forces you to swing MUCH longer on longer putts, and this makes it much harder to hit the small sweet spot of the face upon the return to the ball. Because of this I often see putts leak to either side when I'm putting from further out.
As I said, it's golden from about 8 feet and in, but it loses almost all of it's charm when you have to lag or sink a 12 footer for Par. For the time being I'm keeping this in my bag. It HAS helped me lower my scores, and it HAS helped me become a better putter of the ball on the whole, BUT...I feel that it's limiting my potential to sink longer putts, and when I feel that my short putting has improved to the point where the tool in use is of no consequence, I'll go back to a putter with a hotter face, and hopefuly sink some of those longer putts.
I like this putter much more than this review would seem to suggest. While I may switch to something more conventional in the future, I don't think I'll ever actually get rid of it.

Summary: I got this 32" Sync Tour for Christmas and really struggled with it. I was ready to sell it when I heard a Butch Harmon tip(aim putter face before taking a stance) and a Stan Utley tip(lean putter shaftslightly forward). Also read a Stan Utley article about how to get a putter on its proper plane. Anyway, the combination of these tips and some persistance have paid off. I've putted great my last six rounds and am holing a lot of long putts. In short, my confidence is soaring with my Sync Tour. I'm glad I didn't give up on it too soon. I knew it had to be good when Rich Beem used it to hold off Tiger Woods and win a major(PGA). Soft(black)insert but the ball comes off pretty lively. It's a great putter that most golfers probably know nothing about. I'm glad I do.
Customer Service: Never used.

Summary: In my other reviews I've said that I play in the 80'2 due to my woeful putting and I've tried plenty of brands in search of the golden wand and i think I've found it - With this putter and plenty of practice I hope to shoot in the 70's this coming season.
I've only played 3 competetive rounds with this putter so far and the difference is showing already - the distance control and feel is superb - Bring on the summer greens.
I played with a guy the other week who was using a Scotty Cameron Futura he quiped that we would win the oddest looking putter prize - But don't let the name or looks put you off STX specialize in putters and they certainly know a thing or two.

Summary: I tried obne of these at the local shop a fe times over the past couple weeks. I have a Rossie mallet that I love, but I might be buying a back-up real soon. The STX has a very smooth feel about it, and lining it up is even easier than my Odessy...very tempting, but still a bit expensive at $150.
Customer Service: Not a clue.
