Review Abstract
Taylor Made Nubbins are "beautifully crafted," have a solid feel, nice control and balance, and shoots in the 90s. The taller striking area assures that you hit the insert only. The "reasonable weight" allows you to focus on aim rather than the necessary force required to achieve longer putts. Many reviewers claim to get "a perfect roll every time." This is a terrific confidence builder for the average player. "All in all, one of the best feeling putters I have used." "Congratulations on a great product.Taylor made!"

Taylor Made Nubbins Putter

Summary:
After 5 surgeries, elbows hands, left shoulder, I can honestly say I HAD to re-learn how to swing a golf club.
I had to redo my entire bag. My driver, fairway woods, irons, and evn putter were ALL replaced.
I got three different putters. The Ping B60, Odyssey 2Ball, and the Taylor Made Suzuka. I hit evenly with all three of these. My little brother had the Nubbins and I tried that when we went out on our next round. I was dropping EVERYTHING within 12 feet and 95% outside of that. I even sank a 72 footer for EAGLE!
If you need a putter that is not heavy and will let you feel the ball, this is the one. But please remember one thing: "Putting is like making a cake, sometimes they stay up, sometimes they fall, and other times they flop." W.C. Fields.
No matter what, Have FUN!

Summary:
This is by far the worst putter I have ever used. It is not well balanced and no site line on top. It is only good if and only if you are already good at putting. The grip on this piece of metal is horrible to say the least. Stay way stay away if looking for some thing good. I will never buy another Taylormade putter again. Bring on the king of putters Odeyssy.

Summary:
I am currently using a TaylorMade Rossa Daytona and i hate it. i played a highschool tournament a few days ago and shot in the 90s because i had over Forty Putts. Today i borrowed my dads NUBBINS and its the first time i have ever used it. I took tenth place and had under thirty putts. everything within 15 feet is like a tap-in now. it is the softest straightest putter i have ever hit. Im searching the web looking for one right now. Highly Recomend this putter.

Summary:
This is a great putter for the price. I had read the reviews here before getting this putter. The feel is great and soft. However one main problem I am facing is during long putt, the feel with distance using this putter is not strong. Besides this problem as mentioned, I have no problem getting the ball to go ruler straight. Overall a great putter for me and I would be using until I am able to get my hands on a scotty newport..

Customer Service:
Never had a change to make use to it.

Similar Products Used:
Callaway Tuttle (My first Putter), Odyssey White Hot 2 Ball, Odyssey White Hot 2 Ball Blade, Scotty Cameron Red X2, Scotty Newport 3.5 (My next toy) and many more as I had tried almost all the putter in the store before getting the nubbins.

Summary:
Last review was Aug 2003, wow guess it took me a while to give my review. I have tried many putters at the store, but agree with many reviewers that the store does not tell all. Bought it cause it was so sweet in the store, but does have some weaknesses - main one being distance. The store experience was correct in showing me that this putter is forgiving and soft, but could not predict the distance issue. I have a scotty cameron on my wish list, but since I only encounter >40 ft putts about once every game or two it is low on the list. I've seen great putters using old low tech clubs that you could get for $5 from the pawn shop, you just have to practice a lot with what you have got. Bottom line is that the Nubbins is wonderful from 10 ft out or less, more than that and you tend to either come up short or overshoot when trying to compensate. I am in no rush to buy a new putter for now, it forgives a lot and is accurate as well - but I still miss the ping sound of metal faced putters, maybe Santa will suprise me (hint, hint, Wife).
