I change putters more than any other club in my bag. Having had numerous Scotty's, Pings, Odysseys etc., I bought the Valerie because it looked like my Scotty Fastback No.1 but is a bit heavier and a bit larger. The Scotty was close to the ideal putter for me but I was missing puts that I shouldn't have. The Valerie out performs it for a measly $60 vs $300. There is something about the balance of this putter that makes it unique. It almost swings itself and stays on line with great distance control andI have greater confidence. Don't be misled by hype and over priced putters. Try a Yes and be a believer. I'm going to buy another for a back up.

This is my first "high-end" putter. I was previously using a really old Northwestern putter, so the YES! was a real step up. I tested a lot of putters before going with this one, and have not regretted it one bit. I can notice a real difference in the feel of the impact over other putters. The "C-Grooves" put a noticeable topspin on the ball that seems to instantly roll the ball without skipping and hopping it.
Since there are so many different styles of putters this particular putter may or may not be for you, but this putter has significantly improved my game. I used to regularly three put, but now consistently two (sometimes one) putt and rarely three putt.
Basically, here is what you are wanting to know: the YES! C-Grooves really do what they claim to do, the putter is well made, feels good in your hands, and gives me confidence in my putting. Hope that helps.

Model Reviewed: Yes! Golf Valerie Putter

After using a Nike OZ mallet for the last three years it was time for a change. I tried a bunch of putters on multiple outings to Golf Galaxy and finally narrowed it down to the Rife 2-Bar or the Yes! Valerie. Both roll it very pure and the Rife has an alignment notch and good sight alignment with the two bars bracketing the ball. After holing more putts with the Valerie it was an easy decision. Performance on the course has been awesome. I'm draining 6 & 8 foot putts far more consistently. With the C-Grooves, the ball starts rolling quickly and goes straight. Distance control is great. Check out the Golf Magazine 2008 equipment edition. The Rife has a higher MOI but the Valerie has half the heel/toe dispersion (6" on a 14' putt vs. about 18" for the Rife).
