Review Abstract
Made for walking, golfers say the "all leather" Classics Dry from FootJoy offers an unsurpassed traditional style, finish and feel. While the price is steep, players do not regret purchasing them. “Great” fit and “tremendous” support have reviewers raving about the Classics. These 100% waterproof shoes are durable and comfortable, and consumers say you “can’t wear the damn things out.”

Footjoy Classics Dry

Summary:
Pros: These are exceptionally sturdy shoes. I agree that the stability you get from them is great. They are also very durable.

Cons: Expensive shoes. They also are longer (I was down a full size) and narrower than most shoes. Do not order over the internet--get fit. They are also very heavy and take some breaking in. The arch support was mediocre also.

My summary is that these are great shoes for golfers who ride in carts. I am a walker mainly and found them too heavy and uncomfortable.

Footjoy Classics Dry

Summary:
A very high quality shoe. I have been playing since I was 5 and I miss the old days of metal spikes. No other traction comes close. With the classics you can still find metal spikes to put in them. The only problem nowadays is finding a course to play that allows metal spikes. The shoes should be bought a little snug because they do stretch over time. It took about 50 - 100 walking rounds (and a few blisters) before they began to fit like a glove. The stability of the platform in these shoes is like no other. Also, you have to routinely condition the shoes with leather conditioner to keep the waterproofing up.

Classics Dry Premiere

Summary:
I have been wearing Footjoy for over 8 years and will not consider buying another brand. I currently have 6 pairs of Classics. Great golf shoes! Very, very comfortable! I still have my 1st pair of classics! You do need to take care of these shoes just like any other pair of dress shoes. Believe me when I tell you this, you will not be disappointed if you were to purchase a pair of Footjoy Classics.

Customer Service:
Footjoy customer service is excellent. The company stands by their word. I had purchased a pair of classics a few years ago and as I changing the spikes, one spike had stripped. I sent the shoes back

Classis Dry

Summary:
Great shoes, well worth the bucks. Now, about that "not for hackers" comment. What a dumbass. That's like saying ribbed condoms are only for gigiloes. I bet that moron has a suped up ford focus with neon running lights and a nuclear subwoofer. I also bet he hits a controlled slice because he plays a lot, but never learned the proper swing plane. To the contrary, if you suck at golf, you should at, the very least, have great shoes. That's true of most things in life. Get one, pal.

Summary:
I hate these shoes. These are not athletic shoes. They are dress shoes with nubs on the bottem. Not made for walking. More for show and sitting in a golf cart. I got addidas and I love them. A true athletic shoe.
