Summary:
Shoes are a pretty personal piece of apparel - you know, one man's trash is another's treasure and all of that sort of thing. Just like there are Ford guys and Chevy guys, there are Footjoy guys and Nike guys, etc., etc.

In any case, in my opinion these shoes are really sweet. One of the best things about them is that they're versatile - sporty enough to be worn with shorts in the summer without looking goofy, but still traditional enough to look good with pants and a windshirt in the fall or on cooler days. That versatility is something that neither the Nike SP-5 nor a more traditional saddle leather Footjoy model can claim, IMO. They're a nice compromise between sporty & traditional.

So they look good, what about performance? I typically walk the course, and these shoes have also proven to be very comfortable for me. Overall construction is good, and the cushioning is more than sufficient to keep my feet happy for 18.

If you're a fan of Adidas products or are just looking to change brands, these are worth a look. The new Tour Metal model looks sharp as well.
