Acer Golf XDS Tour Carbon Steel Oil Can Wedges Review

Acer Golf XDS Tour Carbon Steel Oil Can

Description
The extremely popular XDS Tour Carbon Steel wedge is now available in an all-new oil can finish! The oil can finish creates a professional non-glare look, and the buttery soft carbon steel body provides excellent feel around the greens. Available in three different lofts this club is the perfect for those tough chips and approach shots when a PW or SW might be too much.

Summary:
I bought a set of these wedges a few years ago, and love them. They are very similar to the Titleist Vokey wedges. A friend of mine has the Titleist wedges and he can't tell a difference in the way they play. Needless to say I am very happy that I got a set of 3 wedges for what he spent on half of one of his Titleist.

Summary:
I bought these about a year ago because I needed something between a pitching wedge and a sand wedge, I researched and tested different models and bought these for the price and how they play. The finish looks more like copper on the face and the sole after you use them and the rest of the club start to turn darker than when they are new. They have nice feel to them and shoot the ball in a nice high arc that lands very soft on the green. My only complaint is because they are such soft metal that the faces show scratches very easily but I guess you have to trade off for soft wedges. If all I had to do was lob balls close to pins to be a pro I'd be rich with these wedges, they are that good.
