48 52 56 60

Summary:
I orginally bought the 56 and 60 to replace my Cleveland 588's, but have since picked up the 48 and 52 as well. I really enjoy playing with these clubs. I'm not sure if these spin the ball drastically more than my 588's, or if my 588's were just worn, but the difference in spin is remarkable. I've had to adjust my approaches on full shots to make sure I carry the ball to or past the pin as they always stop immediately or come backward while my approaches with the Cleveland 588's always went forward a bit (same ball, same course, etc). They work well on tight lies out of the fairway and work nicely out of the rough as well. They are about the same as my 588's out of the sand.

The only downside I've found is I can't hit them quite as far as the 588's. They are about 10 yrds per club shorter than the 588's. This may be because of the extra spin, not sure. It's not a huge deal, but has caused me to pull my 3-iron in favor of an extra Eidolon wedge to fill the gaps.

56 and 60

Summary:
Very nice. First, they look terrific and instill confidence.

Second, they are as good as advertised on tight lies - just as good if not better than my Cleveland low bounce.

Third, they do facilite bite. Haven't achieved 15-20 feet of backup some people claim, but they definitely hold their spot. Maybe it's the fact the clubs and grooves are new, but there is a difference compared to my current wedges.

Fourth, they work fine in traps. Can't tell the difference from a traditional sand wedge in this regard.

Finally, they seem to scratch less than Clevelands.

I'll very happy with them and will be going back for gap and pitching wedges before long. A bit pricey, but worth it, so far. Company owner has a nice wedge blog going - a bit self promoting, but still useful.

56* Wedge

Summary:
Clubmaker suggested I give a try because I was complaining about tight lie 5o yd and in shots. . . hit some well, but bad ones were sculls over green that cost strokes. Suggested I try the Vsole because of flexibility and low bounce when squared. So far I am very impressed. Try to get used to and only played with 2 rounds, so not everything is awesome, but for the most part it has been a joy to hit. Half and full shots feel great. The spin is amazing!! Hit a sand wedge in from fairway @ 100 yds, hit green and backed up 15 ft!! Never done that before!! Really pured it so that helped Im sure. Even on short chips it can really check up and slow down fast. Open the face and you have a bounce angle great for getting out of bunkers. Time will tell as I get used to it, but for now I am sold. My friends were giving me grief because of the ups and downs I was hitting on them. . . was using demo from from my club maker and as the round went on and the shots continued to be very solid, they started commenting on the club being "Vsold" instead of Vsole.

Customer Service:
Bought online and had an email exchange with president. They are adjusting lie angle for free. Very responsive and impressive so far. . . course they should be for the price!
