, from Athens, GA Model Reviewed: 19 iron (PW) Summary: Kenneth Smith's 50-degree 19 is their pitching wedge and it works as well as, if not better, than their irons giving a classic forged blade feel. I generally find that the shorter Smith's irons are the better they perform. At the driving range the other day, I found the 19 to be quite consistent even on slightly off-center hits for full swings: straight shots within 100+/-10 yards again and again. And for pitches, the feedback is exceptional and the results reliable. The 19 fits nicely between my Smith 9-iron and my Cleveland 53-degree gap wedge.
