Model Reviewed:
G10 U, S, and L

Summary:
Traded in Mizuno wedges attempting to gain the feel of the G10 irons I bought. While the feel is great, I lost ALL the stopping power I had with the Mizuno's. No matter how I struck the ball, the ball always released 10 to 20 feet! I got so frustrated trying to figure distance to chip/pitch because of the ball release was so inconsistent! I finally traded them for Titleist Spin Mill Oilcan wedges. I really wanted the Pings to work. They are easy to hit in regards to resistance to digging; they just don't seem to stop the ball, no matter the hight hit or divot imparted.

Ping M/B 52 & 58 wedges

Summary:
Been playing the M/B wedges for about 3 years now. I got my first ones used off Ebay fairly cheap. During this time, I fooled around with the Ping Tour wedges and Tour-W wedges. Both of these newer models are excellent wedges but I ended up going back to the M/B. Fortunately, Ping still offers the M/B and I was able to order two of them brand new to my specs. Of course, there's a slight upcharge for their classic clubs. The M/B has a larger face than the newer compact models and the wider sole makes the wedge easy to use out of the sand and around greens, especially when opening up the face. Full swing shots are really solid feeling and they set up so sweet behind the ball. Basically, these wedges just inspire a lot of confidence. Always a good thing when playing this damn wretch of a game! When I started playing these wedges, I was down to a 9 handicap. Now with kids, I don't get out to the course as often. Playing now to more like a 13 or 14. However, I can still get out there and feel comfortable hitting these wedges. IMHO, the M/Bs are going to go down in Ping history as being one of their best wedges ever.

Customer Service:
These guys are really great. I also play Ping S59 irons. I wanted a custom finish done to my irons and they were happy to accommodate me for a small upcharge. Very cool.
