Model Reviewed:
powerbuilt oversize wedge

Summary:
This club is a total pile of junk. The worst wedge I have ever hit let alone actually played with. It is simply too heavy to hit straight shots. The weight causes the face to open or close every time making the ball hook or slice. This club made me go back to my ancient cheapo knight wedge for much better results. I don't know who their market is, but why anyone would (or could) swing such a heavy rock on a stick is beyond me. I got this thing practically for free and it was still a rotten deal!!

Summary:
Bought this club on internet. First time I hit it on a course I was in a fairway bunker about 120 yards out and I stuck the ball within 5 feet of the pin, with backspin!!! It earned its place in my bag after that shot. I dumped both my sand wedge and approach wedge and this takes the place of both. I can hit it just as far as my 52* approach wedge, and it works wonders out of the sand.

When you hit this club correctly, you almost dont feel it, thats how nice it is. I have read many reviews of how bad this club is if you mis-hit it. I dont agree. The club does let you know when it is mis-hit by feel, but it seems to go almost as good as a perfect hit. This is the easiest club in my bag to hit with.

I have always had problems hitting high-lofted clubs off of a tight-lie, like a low cut fairway or dead-pan. No longer, I can hit this club out of almost any lie and any surface and get good results. I have also not been one to put much backspin my my shots, but I often do now when I hit off of a good lie.

This club just surprised me to say the least. I knew it was supposed to hit well when hit properly, but was supposed to be very poor on mis-hits. That is just not the case with me and I know I mis-hit it often. Maybe it's just me? The only downside to this club is its high price, it is expensive, but worth every penny!
