Precept Tour Premium Wedges Review

Precept Tour Premium

Description
The Precept Tour Premium Wedges were designed and manufactured with two primary goals in mind- performance and feel. Most wedges in the industry are cast with the scoring lines in them. Due to the material’s extreme heat during casting, it tends to shrink as it cools. This “shrinking” causes inconsistencies in the flatness of the face which can affect the spin properties of the finished club. The Tour Premium Wedge is cast from a soft 255 stainless steel alloy with no scoring lines in it. After the material has cooled, the face is milled flat and the precision “U” grooves are scored using a CNC (Computerized Numeric Controlled) machine. This precise process contributes to the incredible spin properties that are evidenced in the wedges and when coupled with the soft 255 alloy, produces a truly remarkable club.
