Little Hay - Golf courses, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire

DESCRIPTION

Great public course.
The first 9 is more testing than the second 9 with nice use of the landscape. Highlights include the 5th 'Heart Attack Hill' and a rare bit of water on the 10th where you can reach the green with a drive if you can hit over either a pond or a small hill. My favoirite hole is the 12th wich is a nice par 5 where you hit the ball towards a large tree over a valley only the be confrunted with a further 200 yards to a green surrounded by bunkers.

A good value, easy to navigate course - ideal for beginners. More experienced players will find it less challenging and may not like the lack of water.

The course is very well kept and designed with a small pro shop and a nice bar/restaurant.
