| | Reviewed by: brandon f, Shoots in the 70s, from pocatello id us Summary: the best public course in the area. the course is kept in great condition all season. the holes are short so play the blue teesif your driving is solid. otherwise you can get away with a long iron off the tee and still have a short iron to the green. many greens are slightly elevated and play tougher than they look. just play smart and this course wont give you any problems. except #8 #9 and #16 be carefull not to 3 put these greens can be a pain. Customer Service: not bad. public course so dont complain

| | Reviewed by: Bart B, Shoot in the 80s, from Idaho Falls, ID USA Summary: My first love...spent my teen summers with this lady. Was there when they first built the back nine and fertilized it with chicken sh.t. White feathers everywhere...hit a ball into the fairway and it was gone. Just find any ball and play it. Then the Portneuf river that danced through the front nine flooded and the Corp of Engineers routed it down a concrete gutter along the adjacent railroad tracks. Made it really hard to dive for lost balls. Now the front nine is mature with several hard Pinehurst #2 inverted bowl like greens...just try to run one up onto number 1. John Tuttle, one of original pros, gave me a new Bulls Eye putter for my 14th birthday. Love this place and the memories. The front nine is great..the back nine is back and forth in a field but it's still home. Number nine green under the cottonwoods with it's "30 degree slope" is still impossible to two putt.
