Shoots in the 70s
The course was in outstanding condition. The greens held really well and were exceptionally quick. This course requires a tough mental game due to some blind tee shots and strategically placed hazards. GCC is a traditional club style course that has recently renovated the greens and tee boxes. This is a must play if you have the opportunity. Customer Service Outstanding - Assistant Pro Buster Inman was a pleasure to deal with. Shoot in the 90s
Very nice, historic golf course. Real country club feel to the atmosphire. Course is pretty short, but very demanding with several blind first and second shots. Large greens that will hold an approach shot. Bermuda greens that have been overseeded with bent for several years make for some very interesting putts if you are above the hole. The staff really makes you feel pampered(espically the men). It is a private course, so you have to play with a member, but it is worth trip if you can.
