Model Reviewed: Silver Lakes

Recently drove down from Chattanooga and played the Mindbreaker and Heartbreaker at this Robert Trent Jones Trail stop. Had a blast! The courses are challenging but fair. You better bring a good putter. Played the short course (par 3) as well, and it was the most fun I have had in a while. Every shot is over water, and from the whites, I can play it (no 200+ carries). Great facilities, and pristine courses. Highly recommended.

Shoots in the 80s

The courses at Silver lakes are aptly named. The 2 we played were Mindbreaker and Backbreaker and they were all that. I really liked the courses for their condition and scenic value, take a camera. It seems that everyhole is going uphill to an elevated green and I can tell you that accuracy is a must. If you mis hit drives it will be along day. Playing from the tips would be a bear. I think the Mindbreaker was the more difficult of the 2 nines we played and they have one more called the Heartbreaker. Be prepared to take more club when approaching the greens which have alot of undulation. Placement on the greens is a must as most have 2-3 tiers.

Customer Service

Excellent, the pro let us play the par 3 course while waiting which is a challenge all in itself. It makes for a great warm up.

Among the public courses in this area, this one rules! The only reason many of us don't come here more often is the price, but if you want to play a course of this quality you have to pay a little more. $60 for 18 and a cart is high, but if you buy a RTG card you'll only pay that once. With the card its only $30. I base my 5 star value rating on that. Cherokee CC on a weekend costs $25 and there is no comparison!

Customer Service

Very good service, you will be treated well here!
