This course has not overseeded their fairways in the winter, so don't expect that come winter (although there is rumors every year that they will overseed). I'm not sure if that's the reason the fairways are generally poor.

The greens are *generally* good, depending on when you play them. They're usually a little better conditioned in the winter. Tees have improved, but aren't stellar. The driving range has improved over the last couple years, so practicing is actually an option now.

It's a fairly flat track, and the holes tend to 'blend'. There hasn't been an effort to create a signature hole, so don't expect too many frills. If you need to play a round of golf, and your wife just cut your allowance, this is the course to play -- you could play forever and still afford to 'pay attention'.

Shoot in the 70s

Yes, this isn't one you should go out of your way to play. However, if you're bored and you're feeling a little spontaneous, this course will do. It's cheap, easy to get on and a quick round to boot. Of course, all this convenience comes with a down side. The course isn't good. Average, at best, in fact. The greens are the "best" part of the course, mainly because they're consistent and somewhat approachable. Depending on what time of year you play here, you're experience can vary. The fairways are usually pretty stingy and there isn't much in the way of a rough cut. The winter time usually shows this course at it's best, but of course the price goes up a little, too. It's not a difficult course by any stretch of the imagination, but you'll need to USE your imagination to enjoy the place. Overall, the disappointing feelings you'll get will be dampened by the large amount of cash you still have in your wallet.
