Played the course yesterday and found it in good shape with fast greens. Nice views, friendly staff and good value for money. I have played many high end courses in Phoenix and generally find Troon courses over rated and over priced . However, i think this one is a good value

I returned to this course after two years and found the course to be in a very run down condition. Hundreds of gopher holes(mounds of dirt) on every fairway. Greens that were bare of grass and no ruff at all. All grassy ruff are's were mowed flat or removed leaving knothing but dirt. When trying to wash my ball I found some ball cleaning stations with no water in them and old towels attached that were shredded.

I had hearad the course was in a state of deterioration so I called and was reasured it was in top condition.

Excellent course for the money. Atmosphere is excellent and the personnel are friendly. The course setup is challenging but at the same time not discouraging.
