Shoots in the 80s

I had purchased a book in the late 90s " The best courses to play under $50 " AND Emarald Canyon was regarded as the best value in the state. So, I made a special trip to this course from my home in Phoenix and I was very disappointed. My biggest complaint is that there are a number of blind tee shots to extremely narrow fairways, some of which are no wider than 15 yards across. Consequently, the the mammoth boulders that frame these fairways act as golf ball trampolines and send your balls into the surrounding desert, most of which are never heard from again. Needless to say, bring plenty of balls

Shoots in the 90s

One of the best golf values period! Lots of elevation and challenging tee shots. Critters galore among the rocks spring through fall. Watch out for snakes. Course mgt. has steadily improved facilities with cart paths, water stations and shade provided at some tees. New tee box on 17 makes an insane hole a little more so. There are so many neat aspects of this course it defies imagination.

Customer Service

adequate

Shoots in the 80s

Without a doubt the best $ value in AZ! This course is just fun. Short par 4's to monsterous par 5's. You'll use every club in your bag. They also have it set up for the women to play. It ain't fancy but you can wear levi's without getting chewed out.

Customer Service

Fine, nothing fancy. I can still carry my clubs. They do have a real character washing clubs at #18.
