Shoots in the 80s

This player friendly layout features wide fairways and no difficult forced carries. It is typical resort-style golf: a few intriguing holes but the design focus seems more on aesthetics than on making the player think. It does offer a unique and pleasing manicured look with mature pines and red dirt filling the space between holes instead of the usual desert scrub. One major plus is the secluded setting, with housing located only along the course’s perimeter boundary and noticeable from just three holes. The practice tee is excellent, despite the fact that pop music is piped in via underground speakers – which is tolerable for leisurely pre-round warmups but could be distracting to anyone attempting serious swing work. Early December conditions were decent; the overseeded fairways were good but the greens were slow and a bit shaggy. Twilight pace was good, 15 holes in 3:40 before it got too dark. Service was reasonable but not outstanding compared to courses with similar fees. Traveling golfers take heed (speaking from personal experience): the souvenir metallic raven-shaped bag tag may attract special attention from TSA security at the checkpoint!

Shoots in the 80s

Have now played this a handful of times. This course has a good mix of difficult and inviting. The greens have more slope than its neighbor The Legacy and it's overall a better test due to this and more difficult bunkering. The greens can run 9-11 giving to the season and day of week..when they're on the quick side, it's easy to mess yourself with a poor approach to a bad position

Customer Service

This place has top service..including cold mango towels carted around the course...VERY handy on a hot summers' day

Played in late afternoon, course was in good shape, too many sand bunkers for my
liking. Good pace and twi-light rates made it a good value. I never did get a iced mango towel? Practice area was good.

Customer Service
