Shoots in the 80s

My favorite course in Arizona. Perfect conditions, exciting and unique holes, everything is memorable. My favorite holes:
1 Short drivable par 4, tee box is over one hundred feet above the fairway, breathtaking views.
3 super tough par 4, difficult tee shot to an angled landing area leaves a brutal approach shot into a very narrow green with huge bunkers in front.
9 monster par 5 with a massive mound in the center blocks the view of the green on some approach shots
16 245 yard downhill par 3, rumor has it Sergio tripled this hole in 2006. Amazing views.
18 shortish par 5, driver makes the green reachable but your landing area is very small. Lay up for an easy par.
This course is fascinating in the way that most shots are "uncomfortable"- rather than having the typical wide, bowled landing areas, you hit into off-set fairways that usually suggest some sort of fade or draw for the best results. Greens are similar- nothing easy, few "run ups" possible. Very tough overall, but fair. Play it if you can (very private).

Shoots in the 80s

Great course, my favorite by far in Arizona. Always perfect conditions and friendly service. This course is very tough- the fairways and greens give you slightly awkward shots- always giving you something to think about. My favorite holes:
1: short downhill par 4, towering tee shot onto a narrow fairway. Only the reckless hit driver here.
3: super-tough par 4. Difficult drive to an angled fairway, second shot leaves you a mid iron to a narrow green (8 yards front to back maybe?) with HUGE bunkers in front.
9: Vast uphill par 5, a huge mound in front of the green can make your approach shot blind. Beautiful.
16: Downhill par 5, 245 yards! from the back tees. The rumor is Sergio tripled this hole in 2006.
18: shortish par 5, take a chance with a driver to reach the green in 2 or lay up for an easy par.
Play this course if you can, it's wonderful.
