Shoots in the 90s

This place is a JOKE! Don't play here. They don't water their course, it's basically a flat open field with little to no obstacles. To give you an idea of how bad it is, after you play the second hole they have a sign that says you can't get a refund if you play through the second hole!!! (not joking!!). And, get this, They went through all of our bags to make sure we weren't bringing in any outside beverages?? I was not happy about them searching my stuff. Bottom line, there are so many nice courses you can play on in Scotsdale, don't waste your money on this one!

Customer Service

Horrible! I was suprised we didn't get strip-searched when we left to make sure we didn't steal anything.

Shoots in the 90s

got to play the resort course while on vacation and staying at the Camelback Inn in Scottsdale, October 2002. had to rent everything, b/c i didn't bring my own equipment (didn't count on having time to play). green fee, cart, rental clubs (Callaway X-14), balls were all together $180, well worth it. there are wide open fairways for the most part, with fairly easy recovery shots form the rough. overall everything was in excellent condition.

Shoot in the 90s

There are two courses here -- Resort Course and Club Course. I played the Club Course, considered to be the easier of the two. The golf conditions were optimal, and this is a great value, particularly in early May after rates have dropped. The course was in superb condition, very well maintained. It is flat and mostly straight. You can't get into too much trouble. Very little water on this course. Your green fee includes unlimited access to the driving range, electric golf cart with ice chest, towels, and GPS satellite system. Pace is very good (unless you are unlucky to get behind 4 foursomes in a mini-tournament like I was - but this is not common). Expect a 4 hour round. At least in May, they allow carts to go directly to your ball, which speeds pace considerably. Service is simply outstanding from the time you drop your bag to when you return where your clubs are cleaned for you (tipping is appreciated), and everything in between. I cannot say enough great things about this experience, and I can't wait to go back to Scottsdale to do this again.
