Excellent course. March is the best time to play. Its not to hot out, and the course is in great condition. The course is fair to all skill levels, just select the right tees. From the tips, both courses are challenging, yet fair. I prefer the Pine course over the Palm. It is one of the older courses in the Phoenix area. It isnt the standard Arizona target golf that you see at Troon or Grayhawk. You can spray the ball a bit off the tee and sometimes get away with it. Where as at Troon, if you miss the fairway your ball is lost forever.

Customer Service

The service is top notch. I started playing there in my teens when I would visit my grandparents. It is what a golf course should be. The faces have only slightly changed in the last ten years, but the service is still excellent. The beer cart girls are especially quick to get around the course.

The only drawback is the price. It is pretty steep in peak season. Relatively affordable in the summer.

Had the opportunity to play McCormick RanchPalm Course this past week. The course had just been over seeded and was in great shape. Played with a local and we got around in 3 hours.

Customer Service

Customer service was first rate and professional.

In summary: you shouldn't play this course. I played in February 2008. The course was in poor condition; thousands of divots, range balls all over hole 1 on Palm (yes you are in target range for the slicers), the greens are awful. One of the staff even reported that originally the grass was Bermuda which is thick and slows the ball down but they couldn't maintain it so they switched to Bent grass which is very fast. On some greens you couldn't even place your ball on the surface without roll! Other items: no GPS, no towels etc.. many other places to play that are excellent.

What a joke! A really expensive muni is how i saw it. I'm not a rich guy, so I look for good value when I play. Thank God I paid so little to play. How the charge $100+ to play here is INSANE! Challenging course? Yes. But the condition and scenery is awful. If ur gonna spend what they charge for a round there, u have an abundant amount of better options. just b/c its in Scottsdale doesn't give them the right to rip u off!

Customer Service

Outside service was good. The convenience bar to get a quick gatorade or water b4 the round or at the turn was barely staffed and slow. What appeared to be a manager sat at a computer and ignored my buddies and I while we stood at the anmanned bar waiting to order a drink.

Customer Service

Excellent, if you stay at one of the hotels in Scottsdale be sure and ask the front desk if they have any coupons. It will certainly save you some bucks!
