Shoots in the 80s

Unfortunately, they had just areated(sp) the greens, so it wasn't great to putt on, however, I did the best I could under trying circumstances. This is a great course if you want a good, cheap place to golf in Scottsdale. Even in the high golf season, it's cheap. If you have kids that golf, this place and Sunridge are great places because they have 5 tee boxes. All 3 courses have desert between the tee boxes and the fairway, hoewever, Sanctuary and Sunridge have tee boxes after the desert, so kids don't have to try and hit over desert to get it in the fairway. Sure saves a lot of golf balls and kids get real discouraged real fast when they keep hitting it into the desert and losing all their golf balls.

Shoots in the 80s

Played as a single. Easy to walk on. Nice mid range course with several interesting holes, well maintained facilities, and lots of sunshine. Enviromental rules are laughable. "Sensitive" zone along holes 2,3,4 in a dry wash. Not allowed to step out of the fairway into the gully but almost the entire back nine extends back up the very same wash. Don''t bruise the sand or cactus. Still a very nice course, lots of bunkers that didn''t really bother me from the blue tees, fair price, and nice folks to play with.

Customer Service

Appreciated the smiles. Pro apologized for sending us out with a goofy old timer but hey...everyone needs someone to play with.

Shoot in the 70s

Very Nice Course. I am a junior golfer and they are one of the few golf courses in the Scottsdale area that provide a junior rate. The course is well kept and the course has lots of O.B. areas. You must make sure that you keep the ball in the fairway. The course blends in well with the natural backround of the desert. The greens roll very fast and the greens have a lot of slope in them. Pin placements are always difficult and u must keep the ball below the hole for a chance at a birde. Though it is only a par 71 it is an excellent couse with water coming into play on a few holes. On the #8, you must control your shot because it is a very difficult par 3. I reccomend this course to all who like to play nice sceanic courses and where it will provide a challenge.
