This course is inexpensive and fun to play. The course is also very open with lush desert in between holes.

The water areas could use some maintenance. The pond on the 14th hole was a little stagnant and had a smell.

Although not the best maintained course, it is still fun to play. The fairways are generous and greens big. If you are low handicapper, you may be a little bored with this course. If you are beginning golfer, you find this course both welcoming and a little challenging at the same time.

Customer service was excellent and the beer cart seems to come by right on time.

May be minor but where are the yard markers? Spent a lot of time searching for a marker in the fairway. The markers in the center of the fairway were different colors, chipped paint and unable to discern from hole to hole.

This was a very good public golf course experience. The day we played the maintenence of the course was better than average for a mid-August, Thursday afternoon. Getting ready for the week-end rush? The day we played, the greens were in good condition, again for mid-August in Tucson. (This is no condemnation of the course but of the people that played it the same day we did: How can we be almost the only people on the course and so many divots and ball marks be left unattended? Where is the courtesey and respect for the course and game?) I loved the tiered greens, and we commented on whoever must have designed the course must have loved to putt - only to find Lee Trevino was the culprit. Thank you Lee! Tee boxes were okay, seen many worse, but not a strength. I thought the fairways were, (no pun intended) fair. By that, I mean reasonably wide and reasonably trapped. We played the back tees (and we are really mid-tee golfers), played the course for our first time, started at 1:30 in a Monsoon afternoon, and ended up in the 90's instead of the more normal 80's. But, it was worth it. It was a fun, fair, excellent challenge.
