Three long par fours from blue tees are barely reachable in two shots by most golfers. Annoying ruts in fairways and rough provide a jarring ride in carts. Miniature-golf type sloping greens - some are ridiculous.

This is a challenging course - rather 2 courses. The front and back are as different as can be. The front is shorter, requiring precision tee shots and short irons. The back 9 is longer, more open, but full of trouble. Greens are tricky due to severe slopes. You'll use every club in the bag.

The course is a challenge even though it is not a 7,000 yard course. The golf course crew is great and takes pride in not only how the course plays but also how it looks. There are no true blind shots. People are able to keep up with the players in front of them with little effort.

Unless you are a person that believes the driver, pitching wedge, and putter are the only clubs you want to use, there are no real weaknesses.

RidgePointe is the product. This course is average to short in length but very challenging. It will not allow a golfer to hit a driver and pitching wedge to every green. You will need to be creative and use something other than just a driver off every tee. Be aware of many sand traps, ponds, and creeks.

Customer Service

The golf course maintenance staff go out of their way to give the golfers the room they need to play a peaceful round without disruption from mowers and staff. The pro shop is very helpful.
