What I like best: 1) The fairways are generous, giving me a shot of confidence when using the driver. 2) The greens are well-kept and challenging, with some local knowledge being useful. 3) Walking is encouraged. The course is reasonably flat.
What I dislike: 1) Sirens everywhere! There is a fire station and a hospital nearby. 2) Paying a cart fee separate from a greens fee? They can't put it on one tab?

Customer Service

The employees were pleasant enough at 7:00 in the morning. As I mentioned earlier, I dislike the policy of paying inside separately for a cart and paying outside at a starter's window for my greens fee.

I have not played too many like this one. I play a lot of mountain courses in the IE, not flat city courses in the middle of urban areas.

I have always liked this course. As far as a muni-type layout goes, it's pretty fair. Wide fairways, small greens, typical older course. You need to carry your tee ball 'cause there's not much fairway roll to be had. Nice range, good putting green.

Customer Service

well run pro shop/starter

A mature course who's wide fairways invite you to let it rip. Good players who expect to tare it up will be surprised at how well this course defends itself.

Customer Service

Most of the staff has been there for years and knows their job well.

Quite possibly, the best public course in LA County. Mature, with trees lining some of the fairways. Uneven lies are the rule, rather than exception here. The 18th is the best finishing hole. Nice staff. Quite crowded on the weekends, best time to play is on a weekday.

Excellent playing course with fairway undulations making up for lack of water. Greens in excellent shape on both occasions we''ve played.

Customer Service

This course cracks you up for government rediculousness. You have to check in outside, then you have to go inside to get driving range balls, then when called by the starter you pay outside for gr

Shoot in the 80s

This course has a nice layout; however, it is quite flat
and fairways are wide open. Greens and fairways are in
good condition. Voted "course of the year" in LA County.
My favorite hole is the 210 yard par-3 on the back 9 with
2 bunkers guarding the front. Due to its popularity, this
course gets very busy especially on weekends and Fridays.
