Shoots in the 70s

I pretty much agree with Roy below. I played recently on a hot July day, coming to the mountains to escape the Reno heat. Good 15 degrees cooler, and played by myself. Definitely a shotmakers course ... used driver 5 times, mostly 4 wood off the tee. Very tight course lined by beautiful pines, well manicured fairways and tee boxes .... fast greens that were true and very enjoyable to putt on, hence my 74. In 7 straight days of golf, this was my most enjoyable experience. Houses were not intrusive, and I found the back 9 much prettier, though there were views all around. A course for those who enjoy thinking their way around and placing shots vs. grip and rip ... personally, I loved it.

Shoot in the 80s

Our round took 4 hours on a Sunday afternoon. But I could tell by the looks of the course that it gets a good amount of play. The course is located in a vacation area and weekends and vacation times can be very busy. The course is beautiful, located in the Sierras, although not as pretty as many others in this area due to many homes lining the fairways. This course rewards the short game player and accuracy. There are maybe 2 or 3 holes at most where you could use a driver or 3-wood. A good many elevation changes, water and sand. A few carries. Decent challenge. Hole #18, the toughest, a short par 5 where you can use a 7 iron 3 times, a triple dog-leg. The course is in fairly good condition. Greens are pretty hard. Fairways are cut short and do roll well. Not much rough. All in all a beautiful fun track.

Customer Service

Good customer service. No problem with getting a tee time.

Shoot in the 100s

The course is very nice and challenging. Condos line some of the course. It is in good shape in the summer, but in the fall when the greens are sanded and fairways plugged expect to pay full price.

Customer Service

Tee times are hard to come by. Call way ahead.
