No crowds

Short course, less longer shots needed.

Ok, well I shoot in the 90's or better on this course , but its a par 65! I enjoy the tranquility of playing here at twilight (Only $12!!) or weekdays early ($22). Often play by myself with almost no one in front or behind!!

Having worked in Scotts Valley the past few months
I have really enjoyed this fresh air, woodsy course
even if its a bit off the path.

Since I am not yet a long hitter, this lets me challenge
accuracy as most fairways are lined with redwoods.

A water hole, several shots over ravines and
lots of OB on both right and left sides give the
avaerage golfer a good challenge, even if its a bit of
a short course. Short but more than an executive course.

It's very pretty, and provides a lesson in patience and smarts.

Being less than par 70 always feels like a course isn't "real" to me, which is what deters me form playing it more.

A short, tight par 67 (or close to it), BC is a fun little course to test your accuracy on. It's buried in trees, so you have to keep your eye on the ball if you want to get out alive. Straight hitters should have no problems with this layout.

This course is worth every penny. Nice course for golfers of all skill levels. A little bit of driving surrounds you with Giant Redwoods, and gets you away from the city. A nice breath of fresh air. Not super long.

Can get pretty sloppy after some rain. Takes a little while for the course to dry out. Other than this, I can't think of anything else that hurts this course.

This is a fun course, tucked away in the Santa Cruz mountains. The scenery is a big plus for this course, as well as the value for the money. It is not the longest course in the world, but it still packs a nice challenge. This course's bark is worse than its bite, if you play smart and confident, you can keep your scores down here.
