Shoots in the 70s

Easily one of the more challenging golf courses around for the price! I found that you can use all of your clubs in your bag there, contrary to what others are saying. But, I would suggest only using your driver on these holes there (#1, #2, #4, #9, #10, #17) and then put it away. Many dog legs that require target golf precision to stay in play. The greens were very fast and difficult if you got above the cups. The first two holes require an accurate tee shot up a steep inclined that could wear out a mountain goat. You might want to take a cart if you’re not in tip top shape. It winds through a beautiful canyon above Burbank. I prefer to walk myself. Definitely a thinking mans/gals golf course.. Have fun and check out the Bar for good food and drinks!

Shoots in the 80s

I fealt that the course was kept in fairly ok shape, it could be beautiful if it was just maintained a little bit better. As far as the holes themselves, they are very challenging and you could get in some trouble if you dont be careful.

Customer Service

Extremely nice and they look glad to see you.

Fun course to play but very short. Tons of dog-legs and target practice. Driver can be used on about 4 holes. Course kept in fairly good condition considering the number of rounds played.

A beautiful course set in the foothills of Burbank. But, it is truly "target golf". Leave your driver in the trunk and bring your 3-4-5-7 woods and/or 1-2-3 irons out. Tight fairways and barrancas make for an interesting round. A "thinking man's" golf course as course management is essential for low scores.

Customer Service

Good.

one word, target golf. this is a beautiful course, but very difficult. on my second round here, found myself teeing off with irons. can''t remember last time I lost so many balls.

Shoot in the 90s

You definitely need to think your way around this course. You must hit the ball straight. The front nine - hole number one plays straight uphill and is deseptively long. number three is a downhill par 3 to a blind green (behind and below a hill), as far as the back nine except for a couple of holes (10, 15, 16, 17) everything is an iron off the tee due to short doglegs.

For every putt - remember that everything breaks down to the city.

Customer Service

If you play often enough - they remember you and your name.

Shoot in the 80s

This course is only good for practicing your short game and the mental aspects of getting around a golf course. You must hit long irons or fairway woods on most tees. One good thing is that it forces you to hit em straight. Elevation changes are somewhat interesting, but you definitely don't use all your clubs. Kind of a tricked up gimmicky course. Plays like an executive course. Pretty accessible though.

Shoot in the 80s

This course is great for the straight hitter. But if you're spraying the ball, you're going to have some trouble. The scenery is nice on this mountain course as well. You definitely need to play this course a few times to learn it, but if you're playing well, you can shoot low.
