Played the Boulders course 1/30/10. This is a true links course, with washes and some forced carries over the washes. Course was in fair condition. Greens also in fair condition but nothing special. The practice putting green was in much better condition than the actual greens on the course. The course itself is a bit on the thin side and muddy. The review before mine mentioned that the fairways were dead. That's very common in the Palm Springs area for the summer months. Fairways are reseeded for the winter. (High season). If the course has any big faults it's the fact that the course does not have much diversity. All of the holes are pretty much the same thing.

Customer Service

Good.

Shoots in the 100s

I wanted to play a course close to where I was staying. All brochures showed a lush green golf course.. Haaa.. This was by far the worse course I have ever played. All of the grass was dead except for the greens and some of the tee boxes. The staff was busy mowing what was of the fairway to about a 1/16th of an inch. Any and all shots, even when hit in the middle of the fairway, would roll in to the rocky wash that runs through the course. To be honest, I will not play this course ever again.. I would have had more fun at the local pitch and putt.

Customer Service

Dont look for a snack either before, during or after the round during the summer. The restaurant staff has the summer off. Cart girl, she was gone too.

Model Reviewed: Cimmeron Golf Course

This course is awesome, Links Style. I have played it twice and both times the course was in perfect condition. Several bunkers on the course, large greens, very few long carries from tee to fairway. Play the back tee boxes for low handicap golfers. Green range, and a nice practice putting green. The course is only a few years old.

Customer Service

Top Notch

Nice courses. Can play 2-rounds in one day easily. Great conditions in April when I played. Built within a low-area which is used for mountain rain runoff. Well designed in a limited area. You can see the course just 1-mile East of Palm Springs airport when flying in or out. Short course is outstanding, Long Course is nice - good value compared to some others in the valley.

Good shop and restaurant. Nice price for the Palm Springs valley. Play on a day without wind and it'll be a real treat.

Shoot in the 80s

This is a links style course. There are no trees but if you
stray left or right it will be OB or in the desert sand. There are 4 sets of tee box to choose from. Greens are in good condition considering the summer heat, although the greens were aerated the week before our round. With the golf passbook, you can get in 2 rounds for the price of one if you tee off early. Playing time average about 4 hrs, unlike 5-6 hrs in the city.
